Lyukóvölgy, Flight, 2017 (from: Marton Magocsi: King of My Castle)

Marton Magocsi was born in Budapest in 1979. He has been working in photojournalism since 2009 as a photojournalist, photo editor, editor in chief for photography, multimedia editor and teacher, not necessarily in this order, and of course not all at the same time. He managed to collect a diploma in media studies, vocational qualification as a photojournalist, and hopefully more friends than enemies so far. His photo and multimedia reportage has won respective Hungarian awards on multiple occasions. His works are not yet collected by anyone, although he doesn’t rule out the possibility. King of My Castle is his first work not at all wanting to be bound by photojournalism (he denies any terrible self-portraits which may surface from his adolesence).
